What a soil stabilizer is used for
Also called road recyclers and asphalt reclaimers, these clever machines have a powered metal drum has rows of mixing blades or paddles which makes soil cement by blending soil, a binder agent (usually cement or lime) and water together with paddles in the mixing chamber.
This mixture hardens to form a suitable road base, and in places where there is no Monsoon season (such as East Africa), soil stabilizers are used as a quick and easy way to speed up your road construction activities and even create a dirt road on your site for low volumes of traffic.
