Improved quarry output - Nigeria
An existing client secured a new contract and asked us to help him increase the output from his quarry, so we sent a quarry manager and foreman to Nigeria. The quarry was a small, inefficient hole in the ground, crushing every three days – clearly more than just an equipment problem.
Our men stripped off a load more overburden to increase the working area, created a roadway into the site and moved the crushing line down closer to the blast face. We also sourced, checked and shipped additional Pegson crushers and screens, a CAT 966H wheel loader and a CAT 330DL excavator to increase capacity.
Within a month the quarry was producing 1000 tons every day of granite aggregate.
