Project Timeline & Key Phases
1. Return Client & Project Initiation
When the client came back to us in 2025 for two additional machines, they knew the complexity involved. From the outset, our shared goal was clear: source two high-performance drilling machines and deliver them seamlessly to Brazil—on time, in excellent condition, and within budget.
2. Global Market Exploration
We began by assessing Mait units located in Sri Lanka:
- Conducted detailed inspections
- Carried out full shipping and logistics reviews
- Negotiated initial pricing options
Though viable, these units didn’t meet all our client’s needs. We shifted strategy to explore options in Europe.
3. Field Visits in Europe – Netherlands & Belgium
We organized an extensive road and rail tour across the Netherlands and Belgium with the client:

- Reviewed technical specifications and operational history
- Engaged in detailed discussions about long-term viability and ROI
4. Financing & Trusted Supplier Role
After identifying preferred models, the client returned to Brazil to secure financing. Here, our longstanding relationship and credibility played a pivotal role:

5. Final Selection & Deal Closure
With the green light from our client, we quickly sourced two matching Casagrande B360XP units:
- From two reputable UK-based suppliers
- Consecutive serial numbers, ensuring compatibility and consistency
- Full pre-checks and technical inspections were carried out to confirm operational readiness
6. Logistics & Shipping – End-to-End Coordination
This was one of the most logistically complex phases of the project. Here's how we delivered:
- Shipping Survey: Conducted a full assessment and proposed the complete plan to the client
- Road Transport: Machines transported within the UK with careful handling
- Dismantling & Packing: Expertly disassembled and loaded onto Mafi trailers – specially designed wheeled platforms used for heavy cargo
- Shipping Execution: Worked closely with Grimaldi Lines to move the equipment across ports, including transshipment handling
- On-Time Delivery: No delays, no surprises – execution was flawless, both in timing and budget
